Mathematics that looks beautiful has a special place in the classroom because a significant fraction of children will be turned on who otherwise would be left unengaged. Here you will be my grade 4 classroom and will learn and collaboratively play with a Picasso line puzzle or two. I will highlight other puzzles that highlight the relationship between beauty and engagement.
